The intention of this
track was to exploit
as many channels as
possible without making
an ugly sound.
I think I fulfilled
that intention rather
well.
I came close to 64.
I'm one off but thats
just because one choir
sample dies out. Dang.
I took Ironmage's good
advice and killed the
robotic vocal sample
with the retrigger on
it from most of the
patterns. I had no idea
it was really THAT
irritating but I kept a
hint of it here and
there >:D
Hope this doesn't fry
your soundcard. I sort
of lavish in the 63
channel area for a
while with all of the
flangers going but I
like how overdramatic
it all sounds.
You navigate the ship
towards your next NAV
point in your mission
to annihilate all Jarre
craft in sector Vega.
Your windows 3000 app
bugs out and your
Tanhaser ship begins to
autopilot towards the
Enigma Black Hole!!!
SHIT! The disk diameter
is only .5 light years
across but your ship is
sliding dowm its steep
gravimetric slope!
Theres no hope now.
Thousands of high-speed
Firekahns haven't been
able to escape from
the Caliban hole which
is only half the size!
Much like the Bermuda
Triangle the surrounding
galactic region has
brought the death to
many Ekahns.
Your Tanhausers
thrusters are on max.
The debris swirls and
slices through the space
around your ship. As
the speed of your ship
increases time slows to
a crawl.
You merge with all the
matter in the center.
Not one survivor that
has encountered a black
hole has been contacted
...yet.
Light is the only thing
you can percive now.
All transmissions con-
verge in your headseat.
You are sent through
the Enigma. Silence.
